We took a five day trip out to Sands Land Boy Scout Reservation on Block Island in July 2001. Above is a shot of the troop on the observation deck at Mohegan Bluffs at the South end of the island. After the photo, there was time to play on the beach below.
While at the bluffs we spotted a bunch of little green men, well, they looked little from where we were. When we got closer, we discovered that the green men were not small and neither was the vehicle they were driving. Even more so, they were friendly and after taking them to our leader, they beamed us up and took us for a ride. A big thanks to the US Army Reserve's 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion!
